About This Item
History of the Augusta Golf Club and the Masters. Author Christian is a third generation golf photographer. His father, Frank Sr. was the first club photographer, and his great uncle has been photographing the Masters since before its inception in 1933. Lots of great archival golf photos from a collection that dates to 1860. If you're a golfer, you need to go to Augusta. If you can't go, you need the book. The book has slight bumping on the top and bottom of the spine. There is a fold visible on the front free end page and the next 2 pages, but it is not a severe crease. There is a barely perceptible stain on the front cover and a tiny dent on the bottom edge. The dust jacket has been folded back on the frond flap and there is shelf wear and slight edgewear. However, the pages are clean and unmarked, and the corners are square. It looks like they didn't read it, but they took it out on the course and passed it around. The Forward is by Gene Sarazen. Under his name on the title page it is handwritten "Masters 2000". Author / photographer Christian has inscribed and signed on the title page.

About mark mcdonald
Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
