Jesse Charles Fremont Grumbine (1861-1938) was an American Spiritualist, organiser of the Order of the White Rose, and author of several books related to his occult teachings. Feeling constrained by the dogma of conventional religions, Grumbine turned to spiritualism and the occult. He called his organization The Order of the White Rose, which he described as a branch of the Rosicrucians, who received guidance from beyond the grave from the late poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning.
