Sydney: Angus & Robertson, 1936. Large octavo, original maroon cloth with gilt lettering, xvi, 1036 pp., 475 illustrations and maps, four colour plates printed on both faces. Some modest foxing of the edges and endpapers, as usual, otherwise a bright and excellent copy in the original publisher's carton. With the four double sided plates printed in colour of the patches of the Australian Forces: Infantry, Divisional Units, Supplies, Transport, Medical, and so forth.
