This edition has been reprinted and reset. This is a tree-lover's first aid book. It explains how to look after the good health of trees, how to diagnose their illnesses, who their enemies are, how to treat the illness, and in extreme cases perform tree surgery. The book is practical, down-to-earth, and written by two specialists who not only love trees, but are very experienced in the their care. There are over 100 photos and illustrations which will help to identify the pests, and show how to repair damage to trees caused by humans and insects. There is a list of trees in alphabetical order, and in a simple and quick reference table records their special requirements, characteristics and problems.
