Ure Smith, Sydney, 1975. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Good. Illustrator: Illustrated. The text is illustrated with colour and black-and-white reproductions of Australian artists works – including Joy Hester, John Brack and Brett Whiteley. The poets included in the look include David Malouf, Robert Adamson and Leon Slade. Orange coloured boards with white coloured titles to the backstrip. Colour illustrated dustwrapper, being a reproduction of Charles Billich's "Leviathan, Suspension", with white coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. In this book Rodney Hall has selected both the poetry and the artwork that encapsulates a memorable exploration of the world we (Australia) live in. Softening of the backstrip edges and rubbing of the lower book edges and top book corners. Some fading of the top book edge with staining of the end pages. Chipping of the dustwrapper corners and lower backstrip edge. There are tears to either side of the top dustwrapper edge, one measuring 0.25", and, the other measuring 1". Both the front and rear fold over crease have small splits. Rubbing of the dustwrapper panels with some stains also present. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [5], 6 - 64 pages..
