First edition hardcover, with dust jacket, published by Counterpoint, 1999. The dust jacket is not price clipped. Historical novel told from the point of view of Joseph Stalin, by the Pulitzer Prize nominated author of 'First Loyalty'. This is not a remainder, not a library discard. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. The dust jacket only has a small crease mark to the front flap at the top corner. Edges of the text block are clean. Binding is tight and square. Boards are flat and the corners are not bumped or creased. The attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory, not a stock photo.
