Stated "First published in Mcmxlix" on copyright page. Solid text block, touch of toning to edges, a very good example. In the publisher's dust jacket, retail price listed on front flap, a few small chips to corners and spine, small loss to top edge of rear panel. Split along rear hingeflap, secured by Japanese tissue repairs. A very good example of a scarce dust jacket.
