Paris, 15 September 1842,. In French. 1 page 8 x 5 inches, in good condition, with the integral address leaf neatly tipped on to part of an album page. Eugène Louis Lami (1800 –1890), French painter, watercolorist, lithographer, illustrator and designer. He was a painter of fashionable Paris during the period of the July Monarchy and the Second French Empire and also made history paintings and illustrations for books such as Gil Blas and Manon Lescaut.
