Nagpore [India], 5 September 1806. 3 pp. 10 x 8 inches, folds, in good condition, some ink passages faded but legible. Docketed on receipt. Mountstuart Elphinstone (1779-1859) was Governor of Bombay 1819-27. His adventurous career features in William Dalrymples book, White Mughals.
