Woburn Abbey, 27 September 1809. A good one page example 8½ x 6½ inches, in good condition. William Adam (1751-1839), politician and lord chief commissioner of the Scottish jury court, fought a duel with Charles Fox in 1779. He became a close friend of Sir Walter Scott.
