Everett, Joseph David (1831-1904). A.L.s. to Mr. Becker. Belfast, December 7, 1872. 1- pp. 178 x 113 mm. Tear in left margin affecting 1 word, remains of mounting present. Provenance: Latimer Clark.

Everett served as secretary of the British Association's committee on electrical standards between 1871 and 1873. His letter concerns a piece of scientific equipment he had ordered: "a stand for putting the resistance coils in connection with each other . . . with metallic projections to fit the interior of the coils. . . ."
