Buenos Aires, 1926. unbound. Autographed note signed with a mounted 4.75 x 3.75-inch" photograph, in the form of a greeting card. The photo and note together measure 5 x 7.75 inches. Buenos Aires, November 3, 1926, in Spanish, thanking the recipient for his kind words of encouragement. Lavalle has signed with his full (scarce) signature. Excellent condition.<br/> <br/> Prominent Argentine surgeon and a pioneer in the search for a cure for tuberculosis. His groundbreaking paper "Biological treatment of osteoarticular lesions" was so well received that he won the First Prize of the Academy of Sciences in 1939.<br/> <br/>
