Dale Evans, who was born with the name Francis Smith, was born in 1912 and began her career as a nightclub singer, then later singing on radio. She then moved to Hollywood and worked for Republic Pictures, where she made movies with Roy Rogers and became known as "The Queen of the West". This black & white photo is on the front of a postcard, and depicts a very young Dale Evans in a bikini. Dale's signature was imprinted on the photo, but she also signed the photo in brown ink. The photo is matted and framed. This is a rare collectable item, depicting a young Hollywood star before she became a Hollywood legend.
