Biography of legendary film, stage and television actor Paul Muni, five-time Academy Award nominee and Oscar Winner in 1936 for his role in "Pasteur." Written by distinguished American playwright Jerome Lawrence, author of "Inherit The Wind," which starred Muni on Broadway. Lawrence, close friend and associate, was regarded by Muni as his adopted son. Warmly inscribed and signed on the f.f.e.p. by Lawrence on date of release, October 21, 1974. Very Good Plus, in a Very Good dust jacket which has a couple of tiny closed edge tears at the extremities of the spine panel. Clean, crisp, bright, and sharp.

Multitalented Knute Olaf Rahmn (1876-1957) served in early Hollywood as actor, cinematographer, and photographer, with over forty films to his credit. Curzon, George Nathaniel, Marquess Curzon of Kedleston (1859–1925), politician, traveller, and viceroy of India. At the time of writing, he was Foreign Secretary. In January 1924, Curzon vacated the Foreign Office and he was able to devote much of 1924 to completing one of his finest books, a study of Calcutta and the viceroys which was posthumously published under the title British Government in India; the work mentioned in this letter.
