About This Item
London: Methuen, 1975. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The interior is crisp and clean, with no marks or signs of wear. The green covers are fresh, with just a touch of wear at tips and corners. The gilt spine lettering is still bright. The dust jacket is not price-clipped, and is also in excellent condition, again with only minor wear at corners. A lovely little copy. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: "Mayo, Bridget and Paddy O'Donnell are unhappy when they have to move from their old home to a completely strange district of Liverpool. They realize that its's because their sailor father has had an accident and the new house will be much more convenient for him, but it is still an awful blow having to leave behind all their friends in the Wood Street Gang".
