1959. LONG, Walter E. B HALL OF TEXAS. In"The Southwestern Historic Quarterly" magazine, Volume LXII, April 1959., #.4. Austin, Texas: The Texas State Historical Association, [1959]. Small quart, printed wraps, bound into hardbound green cloth covers, stamped in gilt, bearing the name pf Betty Anne Thedfpord. Illustrated with sepia photographs. Signed presentation from Long on the front endpaper: "To my gracious friend Betty Anne Thedford for patiently providing the old records of the University of Texas Regents for use in recording B Hall of Texas. Walter E. Long. 7-9-'59." Thedford was the Secretary to the Board of Regents at the University of Texas. B Hall (Brackenridge Hall) was built in 1896 but razed in 1952. It served as a men's dormitory and housed many prominent University of Texas alumni over the years. Very Good (bright & clean, little soil pastedowns of green binding). $85.00.
