One of his largest works was his epic poem 'The Destruction of Babylon' which was written as an allegory through stories of the Abbasid Caliphate, of combat and war, the reign of Sultan Saladin of Egypt and Syria, the Catholic Church and the Vatican, pagan kings, and much more.
