Faux vellum paper over boards with title in black embossed on spine. [534], 15 p. : ill., facsims., music ; 16 cm. Facsim. reprint. Originally published: Geystliche Lieder. Leipzig : Valentin Babst, 1545. Text throughout enclosed in engraved ornamental borders. There is a modern title page following the facsimile marking the beginning of a 16 page commentary by Amlen, dated 1966. World Cat shows 14 library holdings of this 1966 printing, only one of which is in the U.S. (twelve are in German libraries; one is in an Australian library). 534 pages. Text is in German. Item Type: Book. Text block is tight, bright and unmarked. Spine is slightly darkened from exposure and shows a little wear at the hinges. Corners are sharp, although the bottom corner of the front cover shows wear. Slipcase, which is wrapped in the faux vellum paper, as well, is intact, with no splitting, although there are a couple of bumps at the top front and bottom back corners. Previous owner's bookplate is on the front free end paper and an earlier owner's stamped name and address at the bottom of the FEP has been whited out. Page edges are dyed red. Quantity Available: 1.
