About This Item
Tale of scandals at USC written by a reporter for the Los Angeles Times. A side scandal is the Times itself, which paused the story for some time. The first scandal, that of the Dean of the Medical School, was not published before the big yearly L.A. Times Book Fair that is held at USC, and was not published until after graduation during the summer. Too bad the publisher of a great story is so cheap that there is no index and no photos, two things that are important in scandal books. There is a nice youtube interview with the author by Live Talk LA, worth watching. Congrats to Mr. Pringle for his great work. He wondered why the Pasadena Police Dept. didn't cooperate much. Hmmm. Wonder if it had anything to do with the huge project the Keck School of Medicine was building at Lake and California in Pasadena? And what about the infamous Dr. Carmen Puliafito? Check youtube, he's given interviews about his life in medicine.
