An interesting 18th-century woodblock-print of 'Bai Boku Sensei Anraku Denju,' written by Wakisaka Gido. Gido was a student under Toan Tejima, a moral philosopher from the Uekawa clan in the mid-Edo era. This three-volume collection anecdotes of regular life with illustrations of samurai, geisha, commoners, animals and more! This rare 1796 edition is written in a column handwritten format.
