Top page edges Gilt, other edges untrimmed. Charming B&W illustrations by Hugh Thomson. Frontis illus protected by tissue guard. Decorative title page.
Spine colour slightly faded. Some edge wear. ffep missing. Gift inscription on endpaper dated 1916 and name penciled on half-title page. No other inscriptions.
