Adam and Charles Black, London, 1958. First Edition. Hardcover. Good Condition/Good. Illustrator: Photographic & Illustrations. Foreword by James Monahan, author's note, introduction by author. The text is illustrated with black and white photographs and illustrations. Green coloured boards with silver coloured titles to the back strip. Inserted loosely into the book is a small booklet from the publishing house advertising further books on ballet Illustrated dustwrapper with black coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. In this book the author goes into ballet physique and the prevention and cure is of ballet related injuries and stresses. Softening of the back strip edges with bumping of the book corners. Some minor rubbing of the book panels with light age toning of the text block edges. Faint offset tanning to the end pages with previous owners name written against the front hinge. A little chipping of the dustwrapper corners and top back strip corners. Rubbing and creasing of the dustwrapper edges and there are some creases to the dustwrapper panels along with rubbing. There is a small crease to the top right hand corner of the front fold over panel. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [4], 5 - 64 pages,. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
