This volume appears to have not been put into circulation. DJ has been protected with a plastic cover. There are two library labels attached to the otherwise fine condition DJ. From the Foreword, "Today, the origin of the type can be better understood for, historically. The type is now known to have developed from an English basic hull model that did not originate in the earlier Jamaica and colonial sloops, but was the foundation for the hull development of these and of the English cutter, as well as other fast-sailing ships."
