Dark blue cloth with gilt particulars to front board and spine. 19 parts and 120 different chapters detailing the history of Henderson County and Hendersonville, North Carolina. Parts include but are not limited to: The Founders; Twilight for the Indians; The War Between the States; The Marvels of a New Age; Vanished Landmarks; and The Old Man on the Mountain. Illustrated both with drawings and black and white photographs throughout. Light wear to head and tail of spine; light foxing throughout. [vi], 365 pp. 6 1/4 x 9 1/4 inches.
