FIRST EDITION. 12mo, 178 x 92 mms., pp. [ii], 276, engraved portrait of Allan Ramsay as frontispiece, newly recased in boards, with paper label on spine; first five leaves slightly wormed at upper right margin, text a little browned. Euphrosyne is the goddess of good cheer, joy, and mirth, so this is a respectable anthology of amusing and cheerful poems and songs; they are predominately Scottish in origin. Was haggis served at Euphrosyne's banquet?
