The Play, A Series Of Episodes, Had A Successful Run, With Windsor's Role Usually Singled Out In Reviews For Special Praise: Self-Awareness Usually Not Seen In Public Performances Before. Windsor (1919-2000) Is Best Known For Her Western And Film Noir Roles, Particularly In The Late 1940'S-1950'S, And Frequently Appeared On Television Thereafter.Windsor Has A Star At 1549 N. Vine Street In The Motion Pictures Section Of The Hollywood Walk Of Fame. It Was Dedicated January 19, 1983. She Was Among The 500 Stars Nominated For Selection As One Of The 50 Greatest American Screen Legends, As Part Of The American Film Institute's 100 Years. In 1987, Windsor Received The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award For Best Actress For Her Work In The Bar Off Melrose. She Also Received The Ralph Morgan Award From The Screen Actors Guild For Her Service On The Organization's Board Of Directors.
