Light foxing to text block edges. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper, tanned. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Paper dust jacket sun faded, has some shelf wear, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage, price unclipped. 12mo. Constitutes a portrait gallery of British soldiers in action, in India and Africa, heroes and cowards, honest men and rogues, speaking for themselves in the language of the working classes.
