Red endpapers with subtly patterned "Ash-Tree Press" repeated throughout. Xvi pp prelim material, 187 numbered pp, nine wo numbers following, including colophon and (helpfully), a four page list of Ash-Tree Press "Titles Published" 1994-2003, including forthcoming titles. Introduction by John Pelan and Christopher Roden, 22 tales of dread (plus two more excerpted in an appendix), sources. Condition notes: A clean, tight, unmarked, square copy with light wear to dj and boards. Pp 167-174 show a crease from an historic and unfortunate fold. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).

Furrowed Brow Books' goal is to offer an eclectic selection, while providing specialty offerings in Eastern Orthodoxy and Byzantine civilization, theology, Christian mysticism, science fiction/fantasy (Inklings emphasis), and military history.
