About This Item

Kroeber, AL. Basketry designs of the Mission Indians. New York: American Museum of Natural History - Guide Leaflet Series No.55, July 1922. 10pp., 12 illustrated unpaginated pages.
Very good minus in printed brown paper wraps, stapled with rusting staples. Cover has titles and image of basket, back cover has "For the people, for education, for science" and an image of the museum. The front cover has previous owner's name (looks contemporaneous) and the rear cover has some abrasion to it. The pages have a water stain to the top of the gutter throughout this pamphlet.
