Book condition: good - just a little shelf wear and front paste-down coming slightly adrift at hinge, otherwise tightly bound and clean - just a little tanning to the paper. Dust jacket condition: fair. Unclipped but with some shelf wear and creasing around the edges, spine a little creased and a small hole (approx 4mm x 2mm) to rear. Some general scuffing and occasional light soiling. This book tells the story of the momentous events of 15th September 1940, seen through the eyes of more than sixty of those who witnessed them in the air or on the ground. Alfred Price served as an aircrew officer in the RAF and, during a flying career spanning fifteen years, logged some 4,000 flying hours. Illustrated with b&w photos and maps etc
