Rear panel with picture of Moulton Kelsey, one of Chicago's leading radio newscasters of the period. Folded dimensions: (9 x 4 inches), overall dimensions: (28 x 18 inches). n.d. (no date, circa 1944 as indicated by dated military actions. "Increased activity in the Pacific theatre makes this new map an invaluable aid in following news of the war. It's new and up to date, showing many recent changes and military actions..." Map has some signs of light wear, inscribed "For Mom" on lower front panel (one may think of a mother following her son in the Pacific battles). . First Edition. Very Good. Map.
