New York: Houghton Mifflin & Company, 1883. Book. Very Good. Cloth. First Edition. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Taupe cloth with gilt/ brown design and brown tiles to the front and gilt tiles to the spine. 85 pp. with 16 pp. of advertising to the rear. Top edges gilt.This copy is VG. Exterior is clean and rich. Gilt is bright. Upper fore edges front and back have about 2" of fading along the edge.Modest sunning to spine. Minimal edge wear. Frontispiece with tissue guard. PO neat gift inscription signature at top of Title page dated Christmas 1883. Otherwise unmarked, clear, and tightly bound with minimal toning.Very nice..
