Printed by the Ward Ritchie Press. "The Beach of Falesa" first appeared in print in six successive weekly issues of The Illustrated London News, 2 July - 6 August 1892. The text was bowdlerized, and the present printing represents the first printing of the story exactly as R.L.S. wrote it" Printed on deckle-edge stock with partially-colored illustrations. Tan boards have a drawing of a Tahitian woman on front, a brown cloth spine with gold stamping. The tan slipcase is "VG" , intact but with rubs and bumps. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
