So much so, that he's eaten millions of them. But now there are only three, two, no, only one berry left. The berry makes a deal with the bear, tricking him Brer Rabbit-style. Stephen Kanter is Emeritus Dean and Professor of Law at the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. Dory Kanter was a graduate of Reed College ('71) and is an award winning Pacific Northwest artist. She has been conducting painting tours and workshops around the world since 1995.
