Constable and Company. London.. 1934 2nd impression same year as 1st edition.. Tall 8vo. In red cloth covers with gilt to spine and black vignettes to spine and front. With original cream pictorial dustwrapper. In very good condition. Nice bright binding. (DW Slightly tanned on edges.) Slight browning to endpapers with inscription at front. Else a clean and tight copy. 151pp. With b/w woodcuts. Stories about saints and the animals they interact with. Taken from original Latin sources.

The Antique Map & Bookshop was established in 1976 and has been in Puddletown since 1978. PUDDLETOWN is situated just outside DORCHESTER in the county of DORSET, on the A35 to BOURNEMOUTH. The village has a by-pass now which means there is easy access to the village and ample space for parking. Our shop is directly on the main road through the village.
