About This Item
Boston: McNeel's Financial Service, 1927. Revised. Hardcover. Good. Brown cloth hardcover with gilt titles and cover illustration, revised edition, 8th printing. A good copy, but with bending at the corners and spine tips and bit of dampstain to the rear board and endpapers. Text is clean and unmarked. The hinges and joints are solid - there is one split at nearly the center of the text from being laid open, but the binding is solid. 155 pp. of advice on brokerage and speculation. Interesting and perhaps still useful, the volume also appears to be a fairly dated timepiece. A particularly dicey chapter details why women are unwelcome in brokerage houses.
