Ex-library copy, with expected inserts and inscriptions. Plate facing page 24 is detached but still present. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Thumb-marking present. Noticeable creasing to gutter. Cracking to hinges and gutters, leaving netting exposed. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Visible crushing to spine ends. Some tanning to spine and edges. Noticeable splits to spine ends. Small marks to boards.
