New York: Reynal & Hitchcock,, 1947. First edition, first printing. Presentation copy, inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper, "Merry Christmas to RAB. Hope you like them. Dick Wilbur, 1947." This is the author's first book of poetry. Octavo. Original green cloth, titles to spine black. With dust jacket. Spine gently rolled, board edges and spine slightly faded; an excellent copy in the jacket with closed tear to head of spine and some shallow chips and nicks to extremities.
