Paris: Librairie de L. Hachette et Cie No date, circa 1868-1893. 359, 336 pp. Two volumes bound in contemporary quarter red morocco over marbled boards, gilt-stamped back, marbled end papers. From the collection of Sir Archibald Orr Ewing (1818-1893), Scottish baronet and politician, his small armorial bookplates front paste downs. His home Ballikinrain was completed in 1868. Very Good Pluslight rubbing at edges, some foxing at end papers only, stamped initials M.C. at bottom edges. An uncommon edition. . Later Edition. Quarter Morocco. Very Good Plus/No Jacket, As Issued. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
