First appeared in 'Sparkles for Bright Eyes', 1879; cf. BAL 195-b and 192. Becky, a foundling bound to work until she is 18, has three wishes granted on Christmas Eve. Stapled in color pictorial covers, the whole book cut around the shape of Santa Claus talking on the telephone; 17 cm. high, 13 cm. wide. Pictures have intertwined initials HFL. Stock#28555.
