Red cloth with gilt lettering and top edge gilt, no dustjacket, 332 pp. A biographical novel based on the life of Beethoven. Translated from the German by S. E. Randolph. Early reprint. CONDITION: Good; pages are a little aged but clean with no markings or tears. Endpapers have some foxing. Cover is clean with light edge wear, a little heavier to corners and spine ends but no wear-through. Gilt on spine is faded, chip near bottom lettering. Hinges are intact and binding is tight..
