Privately Printed for Alphonzo E. Bell. Very Good. 1927. First Edition. Hardcover. Quarter leather over decorative gilt boards with "BA" or Bel-Air monogram on front board. Boards have moderate rubbing to edges; text block has moderate offsetting on leaves with an opposite illustration; previous owner's inscription on front endpaper "Charles Leland Cogil from Aunt Heattie." This printing follows a previous printing issued with a slipcase and the author's full middle name, instead of just "F." This publication has beautiful tipped-in illustrations alongside the text which recounts the history of the property planned for development on Santa Monica Bay. Includes poems by George Sterling, Robinson Jeffers, and others. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 30 pp .
