London: A & C Black Ltd, 1908. 1st Edition. Original Cloth. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Large. Forestier, Amedee. ixpp; 390pp; 6pp of adverts. A lovely copy. Illustrated with numeorus full page colour plates painted by Amedee Forestier with tissue guards, including a frontispiece plate, all as called for. Fold out map to the rear of the book. Original binding with crest and lettering to the front board and gilt embossed lettering to the spine. Slight fading to the spine. A couple of slight niks, fairly closed to the cloth at the head of the spine. A little splitting to the front inner hinge, revealing the webbing, though the board remains firmly attached. Slight foxing to the fore edges. Fresh and clean. A well preserved copy.
