New York: Charles Scribners Sons. Good with no dust jacket. 1950. First Edition. Hardcover. viii + 240 pp. Index. First US edition with Scribner's "A". Original red cloth covers are sunned at the spine, borners bit rubbed. short tear at spine tip, spine gilt only just legible, back cover has small humidity stain at top edge. Interior price sticker scars to first blank, a very few light pencil "ticks", paper is toned, slight ripple at top edge, otherwise good. Hard to find. ; 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall .
