Charlotte, North Carolina: Presbyterian Standard Publishing Company, 1919. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Very Good. Lieut. John R. Mallard. 12mo. 104 pages. Hardcover bound in green cloth with a white and pink label on the front cover. The binding shows light to moderate rubbing and wear. Inner hinges reinforced with book tape. The front flyleaf has an early owner's signature and inscription reading, "Mrs. E. E. Moffett, For the Asheboro School Library with will be appreciated by A- as Mr. Douglass' parents were citizens of Asheboro when they resided for some years." A collection poetry by a North Carolina author. Douglass (1875-1940) was born in Cumnock, Lee County, NC. He was a Baptist preacher.
