Biography of jazz clarinetist and bandleader, Benny Goodman, set against the music and social world of the 1920s and '30s. He was one of the first to have a racially-integrated band and the success of the group launched stars such as Gene Krupa and Peggy Lee. Goodman was also a classical musician and premiered works by a range of composers.. Hard Cover.
