Synopsis

Bernard Assiniwi is a member of the Cree nation who devoted his life to studying and writing about Canada’s native people. He wass the author of fifteen books, including La Saga des Béothuks, which was published in French in 1996, and won the Prix France-Québec Jean-Hamelin. He died in September 2000.
