About This Item
153pp, burgundy cloth w/orange end papers, photo on dust jacket of Freud's couch. Signed on ffep by photographer Edmund Engelman, who photographed Freud's home and consulting offices in fifty-four images a few days before the family fled Vienna in 1938 to escape Nazi persecution. Beautiful photos of a fascinating house and setting for the man that invented psychoanalysis and the idea of the subconscious.
