Oxford: Basil Blackwell, 1927. Book. Illus. by Aldin, Cecil. Very Good. Hardcover. Signed By Author & Illustrator. First Edition, Limited. Elephant Folio - over 15" - 23" tall. Very good, with a heavy bump at the top of the spine, and some soiling to the cream cloth covers ( including a couple of blue spots on the front, and 4 small ink scribbles on the back). The gilt title lettering is still quite bright. Light foxing to front endpaper.Internally very good, The full page Aldin drawings all fine. This first edition was limited to 250 copies signed by both the author and illustrator. Printed at the Curwen Press. A presentable copy of an increasingly uncommon Aldin title..
