An edition that is edgeworn and bears page edge soiling, else Nearly Fine in a dust-jacket of equal condition with a minor edge tear ; Bernard Shaw's life, work and friends are the subject of this biography. Born in 1856, Shaw became an outspoken socialist and playwright. He married a woman twenty years his junior and had a tumultuous relationship with her. He died in 1950.; 8vo; 628 pages .
